Meet Msquill
I am a mom, grandmom, writer, and woman of God.
After years of unexplained neurological symptoms that would come and go, my body simply stopped. I found myself suddenly struggling to walk, to see, to dress myself, or even to hold a fork.
The eventual diagnosis was Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. The prognosis was not great. In fact, my medical team recommended a nursing home. They told me to get my affairs in order and make sure I chose reliable guardians for my children.
But, I knew God had more for me. I refused to give in to what the doctors were saying. I prayed. I cried. I cussed. I prayed some more.
Holy Spirit led me to people who guided me back to the foundations God built into our bodies. Nutrition, herbs, movement, and spiritual discipline. Every day was an uphill battle, but I couldn't give up.
As I learned about my neurological and immune systems, I made changes. I added supplements, I changed my diet, I studied herbal medicine from many different cultures, and a huge list of other things. Through it all, I continued to lean on God's wisdom and guidance.
I started to see small improvements. My vision started to clear. My kids' faces were no longer blurry. I could hold a coffee mug without dropping it. Healing wasn't linear. It was one step forward and two steps back.
Not everything I tried helped. In fact, many were a complete waste of time, effort, and money. Some made me worse. But I kept careful records and treated my recovery like it was the most important job in the word. Because it was. My kids needed their mother.
As I recovered, I was able to do more.
Eventually, I went back to school and earned a bachelor's degree in natural healing. I followed that with a degree in traditional naturopathy, with certifications in herbal medicine. More recently, I became an ordained minister, and nationally certified health coach.
With God's help and guidance, I fought my way back to active, vibrant health!
Now, I help others do the same.
