I just finished my very first 5 mile hike in something like 10 years —  2 1/2 miles in, and 2 1/2 miles out. The best part? I’m still able to stand, I’m not seeing spots, I don’t need a nap, and I have enough energy to get through the rest of my day!

It’s been a hard, long road back to this point, but I’m here. Here’s to continued recovery and maintaining the hope that I can work my way back to the fitness level I had before ms stopped me in my tracks.
