I’m taking a class on gut bacteria and how it effects human health. I am simply amazed at the progress being made in this area of research. Scientists have learned that specific strains of bacteria effect everything about humans. Weight, personality, autoimmune disease, Leaky Gut Syndrome, mental health, heart health… the list goes on. The researchers who present as part of this class have, in some cases, even determined which bacteria influence which aspect of health. For example, they have determined that low amounts in any number of three bacteria will cause obesity. One of the labs is planning on holding a clinical trial around one specific gut bacteria and Multiple Sclerosis.
If you have ANY chronic illness and you have not looked into gut bacteria yet, you might want to think about it.
