I make it a point to only discuss politics as it relates to natural health and wellness. I firmly believe that each person has the right, and the responsibility to make their own decisions regarding their own body.
Information is the SINGLE most important factor when making health and wellness decisions. And Google is actively suppressing health and wellness information.
Mercola.com is a great source of natural health and medical information. I don’t agree with everything he has to say, but he is my FIRST stop when I need to research a procedure, herb, supplement, or condition. He tells it like it is, and isn’t afraid to speak out against the mainstream.
By actively suppressing the Mercola.com website Google is doing a disservice to every person in the world who searches for health information on-line.
I’m not going to get into the politics of what Google is doing. That’s a discussion for another place. (and I AM having that discussion on a more appropriate forum. ) The bottom line is that Google is private property, and in the US they have the right to run their company any way they see fit. The problem I see is that most people aren’t aware of how much censoring of information Google actually does. (a lot)
Information is POWER. By restricting the information people see, they are actively restricting their power.
